I had dealership install this package, as it looked very time consuming. Am very happy with the operation of the unit. It has saved me numerous times, and has not yet failed. The only issue I had was when I did not trust the unit. I hit two things behind me, a motorcycle (my own) in the garage when I heard the beeping, but didn't see anything, so I continued backing up and hit the bike! I did the same thing with a concret pole at a Motel! I guess that I need to trust it, or get out and look. A worthwhile purchase!
