I just got the Link installed in my 2006 Accord EX-L, 6MT, with in-dash 6-CD Changer, WITHOUT Navi. HondaPartsDeals.com had the best price around...even including shipping. I had a local dealer install it. Price out dealers. I got several quotes ranging from $60 to $214 for installation alone!!! The dealer for $60 got my business and they did a great job. Sound quality of the Link is GREAT. Steering wheel controls work great. There's a few quirks to deal with. In the "Shuffle All Songs" mode, the Link will repeat songs that it has already played. Not a big deal if you have tons of songs on your iPod. Just skip to next. If you Shuffle through the Link, then disconnect and want to shuffle the iPod, it resets back to Track 1. It does not pick up where you left off. This is not the perfect solution, but it is a GREAT solution. Less functionality than the Harmon/Kardon iDrive, but also much less $$$. Plus, the iDrive uses an FM modulator...not near CD quality. iDrive allows for a wired connection, but that is through the antenna input. Still not a great solution, plus the iDrive has that obtrusive (I think) screen and controller. Honda's Link gives CD quality sound. If you want great sound and don't need to fiddle with the iPod at all times (and you shouldn't while you're driving), buy this thing!!!
