While this item will not fit the hybrid model as manufactured, I did purchase one and modify it myself to fit my 2006 hybrid.
All I had to do was carefully mark and then cut away a few inches from the forward edge of the tray with heavy duty scissors. The rear end and sides of the tray fit the hybrid trunk unmodified.
Of course this modification means the tray will not hold a lot of liquid, as would an unmodified one, but it'll still protect the trunk interior from liquid drips and wear.
Otherwise, it's an excellent product made from a flexible plastic material with a non-skid finish. Items placed on it don't tend to slide around on it like they do on the stock carpeting.
